    Dan,

    Thank you so much!

I actually do write out my contrapositives and somehow never made this connection.

To say I am a bit embarrassed is an understatement – perhaps a few days of no prep to refresh is in order.

So, I’ve reviewed this game several times and can complete the game using my memory from 7Sage/LSAT Blog.

I am really struggling to understand one of the key inferences from the game, however.

    ~R –> J –> ~M

In this chain, we supposedly have an “either/or” rule with ~R –> J and then a “not both” rule with J –> ~M.

I know this is a key inference in the game, and is supposedly easy…Read More

  • So, I am noticing that in my last few PTs my LR performance has been somewhat effected by not knowing how exactly to attack a question after reading the stimulus.

I know some companies make flash cards to help drill stim-recognition, but I know they also use different terminology.

Does anyone have recommendations on either:

    A) Recommended flash cards

    or

    B) A different, “Trainer…Read More

  • Danny and Mike,

Thanks so much to the both of you!

I know my questions have all been somewhat related, and that is probably frustrating.

I really appreciate your patience with me!

I am using my extra time to dig deep into the questions in the drill sets and sharpen my fundamentals (focusing on the elements mentioned by Mike) via the 7sage method (thanks to Danny!).

    Thanks again!

    J.D.

  • I am struggling pretty heavily in the first LG Drill Sets, and I was wondering a few things

When should I review these games? After finishing the book, or intermittently?

I know LG is going to take quite a while for me to nail down, but I don’t want to begin unnecessarily worrying this early in my prep (using 16 week schedule, going for June).

    Thanks as always, Mike!

  • Mike,

I know this is covered a little bit in the free study schedule packets, but I wanted to see if you could go a bit more in depth.

I am about to embark on the first Logic Games drill set. I’ve looked through the book and official site and cant really find anything that answers these two questions:

    1) How are we supposed to manage timing in these drill sets? I know in the book you l…Read More

  • Mike,

I really appreciate the in-depth answer; it really helped me solidify my study plan as well as not make me “freak out” about taking some extra time.

My question this time pertains to drilling:

I just got done with Chapter 9, and struggled with a two questions on the “Argument-Based Question Set”. I made notes about these questions and what went wrong in my thought process in the…Read More

  • Hey Mike,

Just purchased The Trainer and joined the site.

My question is related to pacing with a 6 month schedule.

I bombed the December 2015 LSAT to the point where I think a re-learning of the fundamentals is in order. Instead of retaking in February, I have decided to simply get my essays in order and take the June 2016 LSAT.

I noticed that the maximum length of the pre-made…Read More
