ahuja923 started the topic logic games reading mistakes in the forum Ask Mike Kim 6 years, 8 months ago
Hey all,
I hope test prep is going well! I wanted to reach out to Mike, and the rest of the group, for some advice.
Logic Games was the first section I got really good at, and while I often times get -0, I’ve been recently getting up -4 wrong with an average of -1 to -2. Generally these mistakes are almost entirely due to reading errors: I read Monday instead of Tuesday in a Q stem, or…Read More

Is it possible to get a walk through of the answer choices on this one? I don’t see how D is the answer, when Helena already concluded herself that extroversion is not biologically determined.

ahuja923 started the topic LR 34.3.5 A democratic society cannot exist–Negation question in the forum Expert Help 6 years, 9 months ago
Hi all,
I wanted to have a discussion on negation for required assumption questions. At the time of taking this test, I narrowed down the answers to A and D. Both seemed to go at the flaw I had identified in my head. From there i went to the negation test to see which one would destroy the argument. I went with A because I had negated the statement incorrectly, and in doing so I thought…Read More

Hi all,
Is it possible to explain the choice between A and E? I feel like both take significant wording jumps, and while I can come to justify A after having seen the solution, I’m not sure I’d pick it again if I were taking this blind.
A seems to take the jump to competency on scientific matters, which is never mentioned. The conclusion simply states that the book does not merit…Read More

ahuja923 started the topic Could be a list wording in the forum Ask Mike Kim 6 years, 10 months ago
Hey Mike,
I know you describe a difference between a few “could be” phrases.
– “could be a complete list”
– “complete list of those that could”
I understand the difference between these in that the former is the typical first question in each game, and the latter is a type of question that lists all of the possible answers, but not necessarily together. However, while practici…Read More

I eliminated answer choice B pretty quickly because I thought the word rigid was being used too freely. Who knows what rigid actually means? I didn’t see it used specifically in the passage in this context. I can’t be sure it means that modern evidence law is less rigid in that it freely accepts most evidence.
Possible to walk through each of the answer choices?

I’m struggling to see why A is wrong. The last sentence of the passage indicates that tundra is expected to experience greatest temperature increase

Hey Mike,
Thanks for the amazing book and this blog. It’s been an amazing tool and I can see the progress I’m making because of it.
I wanted to get some clarity and required assumption questions. On pg 271, you explain that there are wrong answers that fill the gap but are not required. Could you elaborate on this? If an answer filast the gap, is it not inherently required?
The e…Read More
