For these types of Assumption Family questions, am I right in saying that sometimes they will target the connection between a premise and an intermediate conclusion?

Usually we weaken/strengthen/find flaw in the connection b/w premises and the main conclusion, but it’s true that sometimes it will be between a premise and a sub-conclusion, right? I think I’ve seen some of these sorts of questions before in my LR drilling.

Thank you! Just wanted to clarify this.

I have not seen this but it seems like it could be possible? Can you reference a question that seems to do this so I can look it up. Now I’m curious!

Absolutely — do know that it is rare — I once actually researched and got stats on how often it occurred — honestly can’t recall the exact conclusions, but I think it was only once every few exams — but it definitely can happen — you’ll most likely see it if there is a big gap between support and intermediate conclusion and very small leap (or pretty much none at all) from intermediate to final —
